There are tons of neat things to do on Cape Cod that bring you closer to nature and wildlife. There are many trails on the Cape that bring you right into the heart of it all. Boardwalks along many of these trails span marshes and offer up-close-and-personal views of ocean creatures and eco-systems that are unique to the Cape. These offer great outings for people of all ages, and many of them are handicap-friendly, too. On our last trip to the Cape we walked the Fort Hill trail in the Cape Cod National Seashore out in Eastham. It is about 1.5 miles of fairly easy walking that brings you alongside marshes with pretty views of the ocean, too. On our walk, we came across kids having a great time looking for crabs and fish in areas where the path came along inlets. The paths are pretty easy to follow, yet you still feel like you are in a natural, unspoiled area. Check out Everything Cape Cod for more things to do on Cape Cod.
