We received our "CC Bears" a few days ago and they are a perfect gift or souvenir for that Cape Cod vacation. We also have a bunch of great jigsaw puzzles with Cape Cod, lighthouses, sailing ships, New England and historical themes. They would be a great learning tool at the same time, too. They are all 1000 pieces and very detailed. Check 'em out at our "Cape Specialties Store".

Can you believe it's almost the end of summer??!! I know the summer season is winding down for the Cape, but the off-season has become very popular with travelers to Cape Cod. Most restaurants, hotels and attractions stay open at least till mid-October. Although off-season rates do not seem as discounted as before, they are generally still quite attractive. In fact, my husband and I are traveling up there in late September for a week or two. I will be coming back with more reviews, tips and travel info to add to my website, so I hope you'll check it out.

Check out this article about off-season travel on Cape Cod.

Everything Cape Cod <

I'm looking for anything about shopping on Cape Cod. Especially info about some cool smaller shops. We love driving 6A and stopping at some of these smaller places, but I have to admit that sometimes we stop only at places where several shops are grouped together. So - if you know of any of these little stand-alone shops on the Cape that you would like to recommend, please post it here.

Everything Cape Cod Travel

Cape Cod in-season vacation time is in full swing. But, if you have not tried off-season travel on the Cape, I highly recommend it. In-season runs from about June 17th - Labor Day. Especially good off-season times to visit Cape Cod are mid-May to mid-June and mid-september to mid-October. During those times, most Cape Cod hotels, restaurants and shops are still open and the weather is generally comfortable, though probably not warm enough for ocean swimming.
