Lobster! I think I could eat it twice a day for a month and not get tired of it! And if you throw in some New England clam chowder (the white, creamy kind - is there any other!!??) and a few steamers.... m-m-m-m-mmmm - well I think they call that H-E-A-V-E-N!
Being a purist, my favorite is boiled lobster served with melted butter, but I also recommend trying baked stuffed lobster, too. It is usually prepared by taking some of the cooked lobster meat from the tail and preparing a stuffing that is lightly seasoned so as not to lose any of the delicate lobster flavor. The lobster body is than stuffed and served with melted butter. You can still find more meat in the claws and legs to go along with the stuffing.
A trip to New England or Cape Cod is not complete without experiencing this regional treat!
